Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly and reliable cashier to join our retail team. As a cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and processing transactions accurately. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring all are processed correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Provide product information and answer customer inquiries.
• Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all transactions.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
