We Are Hiring: Storekeeper / Assistant Purchasing Officer

Location: Abela Supermarket, Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about inventory management and procurement? Abela Supermarket in Khalidiya is looking for a Storekeeper and an Assistant Purchasing Officer to join our growing team!

Job Responsibilities

Storekeeper:

  • Manage and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team for stock replenishment.

Assistant Purchasing Officer:

  • Assist in procurement planning and supplier management.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Monitor market trends to make cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in storekeeping or purchasing is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory software systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Estimated Salary

  • AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 per month (depending on experience).
