WhatsApp accounts being hijacked in Pakistan, what is going on?

I have seen a lot users recently got hijacked. They receive continuously pin codes which are not requested by owner of the number. After you ignore it. Suddenly you are logged out and you lose you whatsapp account.

I am not sure why is no one taking action.?

A lot of business users have lost their access to whatsapp account and in return they ask you money to give you your account. Seeing the widespread news related to PHP bug, Binance being hacked for 6 billion USD, and all secured platforms are being targeted. What in the world is happening ? Is this because of AI exploitation?

This is concerning point and needs to be discussed.
