Job Summary

The resource will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that projects are effectively planned, executed, and delivered. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements / user stories, process flows and use cases.

This includes overseeing project delivery, ensuring that projects stay on track in terms of timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities/ Output Expected

•Collect, challenge, facilitate and document business requirements/features in a waterfall and agile environment.

•Creating Use Cases, Business Rule configuration; User Interface Specs; Functional Specs; Test Scenarios and Test Cases.

•Help identify how requirements can help make the process more efficient.

•Experience with leading and owning end-end process across systems.

•Experience creating business process workflows and support process owners and IT PMs.

•Experience working with senior stakeholders reviewing requirements/user stories and getting sign offs in a timely manner.

•Validate the overall IT solution to ensure alignment to business requirements.

•Conduct system testing includes integration testing and oversee the entire User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process until approval is obtained.

•Publish UAT Status Dashboard and Progress.

•Create Traceability matrix from Requirements to Test Cases.

•Must be detail conscious, technically motivated, creative, and user oriented.

•Oversee the development, testing, and support of systems.

•Ensure the effective integration of new applications with existing systems.

•Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues as they arise.

•Vendor Coordination during Projects/CR/Support.

The role involves questioning need for the change and recommending optimized technology enabled process decision-making, authority in handling judgmental complexities to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects aligned with organizational objectives.

Knowledge /Skills /Experience

•Bachelor's degree or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

•Business Analyst with min. 5+ years of experience within respective areas (Digital, Health, General, Life & Finance) in Insurance Industry.

•Certification would be an advantage.

•Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering techniques, and Scrum or Kanban methodology

•Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills (written and verbal), and be team oriented.

•ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

•Strong negotiation and user/vendor management skills.

Internal: Communication within internal teams including IT, underwriting, operations, claims, actuarial, finance, risk, customer service and compliance - COMMUNICATION HAS TO BE REALLY GOOD AND PRESENTABLE
