Vessel: 71m / 1,500 GT Yacht

Location: Dubai, UAE

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Yacht Captain to take full command of our 71-meter vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe navigation, total operational compliance, vessel maintenance, and budget management while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service on board.

Requirements

Primary Command License:

• Master STCW Reg. II/2 – Yacht <3000 GT OR Master Unlimited (Class 1).

• Mandatory Certifications & Endorsements:

• Valid ENG1 (Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate).

• GMDSS General Operator Certificate (GOC).

• HELM Management Level (Human Element, Leadership & Management).

• Medical Care on Board (STCW A-VI/4-2).

• ECDIS and Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW A-VI/3).

• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Discharge Book.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of command experience as Captain on large yachts (60m+ / 1,000 GT+).

• Extensive experience navigating high-tonnage vessels, managing ISM/ISPS safety systems, and overseeing shipyard refits.

• Proven leadership in managing a diverse, multicultural crew and fostering high onboard morale.
